I began my interest in photography when I was 17, using my dad's old Mamiya Sekor. An uncle then gave me his old Canon, and a few years after that, I splurged on a Canon Elan IIe, which I still own. I must say that my Elan has been gathering dust for the past few years, as I find digital photography much more cost effective. Oh, and it satisfies that whole instant gratification thing that I seem to have.
I recently bought a Canon Rebel XTi, and I'm having loads of fun with it. I still haven't taken advantage of all the features the camera has. There is time, however.
